Paper Preparation
PAPER PREPARATION GUIDELINE
Papers should be a maximum of three pages including figures, tables and references. All papers should be in PDF format and submitted electronically via the Epapers submission system. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least three reviewers using double blind review process. Please do not include author names nor affiliation information in your paper. Submitted papers must present original unpublished research that is not currently under review for any other conference or journal. Papers not following these guidelines may be rejected without review. Submissions received after the due date, exceeding length limit, or not appropriately structured may also not be considered. Authors may contact the conference organizers through the contact form on the ISOEN 2024 website for further information or clarification. All papers submitted to ISOEN 2024 will be checked for plagiarism (50% will be rejected immediately, 31-49% special review process-rewrite is required, < 30% normal review process). Authors of accepted paper will be notified by email. All accepted and presented papers will be published in the book of abstracts distributed at the conference. The authors of accepted and presented papers will have an option to submit the paper to the conference proceedings to the IEEEXplore. At least one author per accepted submission must be registered AND attend the conference to present their paper. One regular author registration will cover the publication of only up to TWO accepted papers. Student registration does not cover paper publication. For each additional two papers, another registration will be required. The scientific quality of the conference is paramount and ISOCS will support only original work to be submitted to the conference.
CONFERENCE PAPER TEMPLATE
This electronic document is a “live” template and already defines the components of your paper [title, text, heads, etc.] in its style sheet.
This template, modified in MS Word 2007 provides authors with most of the formatting specifications needed for preparing electronic versions of their papers. All standard paper components have been specified for three reasons: (1) ease of use when formatting individual papers, (2) automatic compliance to electronic requirements that facilitate the concurrent or later production of electronic products, and (3) conformity of style throughout a conference proceedings. Margins, column widths, line spacing, and type styles are built-in; examples of the type styles are provided throughout this document and are identified in italic type, within parentheses, following the example. Some components, such as multi-leveled equations, graphics, and tables are not prescribed, although the various table text styles are provided. The formatter will need to create these components, incorporating the applicable criteria that follow.
